Psoriasis in natural health

anIn conventional medicine, psoriasis is a skin disease that causes a rash with itchy, scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp. Psoriasis is a common, long-term disease with no cure. It can be painful, interfere with sleep and make it hard to focus. The condition tends to go through cycles, flaring for a few weeks or months, then subsiding for a while. In natural health, psoriasis is called sheling sore because it often occurs on the neck; it is also called stubborn tinea because it is lingering and stubborn. It refers to a chronic itchy skin disease that often occurs on the neck, elbows, etc., and is characterized by a leather-like, stubborn and firm appearance. 

It is caused by wind, dampness, and heat accumulation in the skin, or blood deficiency and wind-dryness over time, and skin loss of nourishment (caused by rheumatic heat toxins stagnant in the skin; or due to insufficient nutrient and blood, blood deficiency and wind-dryness, it has a certain relationship with emotional disorders. The disease is clinically characterized by localized lichenification of the skin, accompanied by severe itching. 

Prosriasis happens in young adults, it is chronic, sometimes light and sometimes severe, mostly aggravated in summer and relieved in winter.
